Polystyrene has two advantages over polyurethane: its weight is relatively low and its buoyancy is relatively large; it is filled more fully and will not shrink and cause incomplete filling. However, compared to polyurethane foam, polystyrene has the disadvantages of poor material strength, easy cracking, and unstable quality. The overall strength of polystyrene floats is lower than that of polyurethane floats.

It is generally about 35 kilograms. The higher the density, the heavier the weight, and the better the quality.

Generally divided into medium density and high density. When using medium density polyethylene, it can balance the strength and brittleness of the shell. It is currently the most widely used floating body material.

Compared with medium-density polyethylene, the high-density polyethylene shell has high-temperature resistance, better impact performance, impact resistance, and lighter weight. It is a floats shell material with potential.

The height = the floating ratio * the outer diameter. For example, if the outer diameter is 2200mm and the surface floats 22%, then the floating height of the water surface is 2200X0.22.
